No more double-bookings — the booking calendar for clubs, community centres and municipalities.

  • Double bookings are technically impossible — including setup and teardown times.
  • Self-service requests with a clear approval workflow — per room you control who may book (public, groups, invitation, internal).
  • Embeddable on your own website, with a native app and an open API.

Public calendar

Free and booked times at a glance — public or private per booking, including setup and teardown times.

Self-service requests & access control

Members and citizens request rooms themselves, you approve — with email confirmation and a clear queue. Per room you decide who may book: public, groups only, by invitation only, or internal.

Multiple sites & buildings

Site, building, room — book whole buildings, grant approval rights per building, conflict-free across every level.

Embeddable widgets

Occupancy calendar and request form via iFrame on your own website — including a booking button and in your accent color.

App & open API

Sign in to the native app with your account — including “Sign in with Apple” — and connect your own systems through the documented REST/OpenAPI interface (with API keys).

Recurring series

Request daily, weekly or monthly series in one step — choose weekdays and the number of dates. Conflicting occurrences are skipped automatically.

Cost centres & references

Analyse room usage per cost centre and export the hours by period. Customers attach their own reference to each booking.

GDPR & accessible

EU-hosted, no tracking, with data export and deletion, tested against WCAG 2.1 AA.

Frequently asked questions

The essentials about Civi-Cal at a glance.

Who is Civi-Cal for?

For clubs, community centres, parishes, schools and municipalities — from a single hall to managing many buildings and sites.

How does a room request work?

Visitors see what's free in the public calendar and submit a request. You review and approve or decline; everyone involved is notified by email.

Can we manage multiple buildings and sites?

Yes. Civi-Cal models site, building and room, lets you book whole buildings and grants approval rights per building — conflicts are prevented across every level.

Can the calendar be embedded into our website?

Yes. You embed the occupancy calendar and the request form via iFrame — including a booking button and in your accent color. Ready-made code snippets are in the admin area under “Embed”.

Is there an app and an interface?

Yes. In the native app you sign in directly with your account (email/password or “Sign in with Apple”); through the open /api/v1 (REST/OpenAPI, with API keys) you connect Civi-Cal to your own systems.

Are double bookings really prevented?

Yes, technically — including setup and teardown times and across multiple building levels. A conflicting request can't be confirmed in the first place.

Is Civi-Cal GDPR-compliant and accessible?

Yes. Hosted in the EU, no tracking, with data export and deletion and a data processing agreement (DPA). The interface is tested against WCAG 2.1 AA.

What does Civi-Cal cost?

A single, simple product with a 14-day free trial. You'll find all details on the pricing page.

Who may book which rooms?

You decide per building and room: public (any signed-in person), groups only, by invitation only, or internal (your team only). With one account a person can both book and — where authorised — manage; you follow a provider via their “Follow” code to see their calendar and bookings.
